Eleven Prunes

Never once in my life would I have thought that still lifes can be so hard. For me portraiture was the hardest to master. As for flowers, I found a way to get around them and they ended up being easy to make. Now that I have finally tried the still life, I have realized what of a challenge it is. And instead of being discouraged and not wanting to make anymore of these, I, on the opposite, want to do more. I think it is important for an artist to understand that a challenge doesn't hurt and giving up is for sure, not an option.
